Its been now over a week where my device doesn't want to sync it shows its connected to the Bluetooth just not syncing. My watch is 3 hours behind time due to not being able to sync.
My device is not even a year old as yet.

Thanks for your post and for bringing this to our attention. If you haven't already done so, I recommend you to check how the syncing procedure works here and see if there's a missing requirement on your phone that's preventing the syncing procedure to be completed. Then, you can move forward and try the troubleshooting steps that are specified on: Why won't my Fitbit device sync? and let me know how it goes.
