Terrible bands

Why if Fitbit is creating a nice new product, would they use a lame idea , such as a pin, for removing the band?   Seriously considering returning this to get an Apple Watch only because I will never be able to change the band.

I found it one of the easier bands to change. Which is good, because the TPU band badly irritates my skin. It is probably the number one reason for returning a FitBit. Poor quality, allergenic products. But good customer support, and a product that does what it should, when it works...

I just find it very difficult with those little pins and trying to angle it

Yeah. I just tried I’m on my wive’s versa. I had to use pliers for her’s. So they work better in the versa 2 than the versa.

Yeah. The versa I could not press the tabs hard enough with my fingers. I
had to use a pair of pliers. That actually bent it slightly before
releasing. The pins that came with the replacement bands look the same
but are much stronger and easier to push.

For that the trick is just getting it in at the right angle. The bands
came with a tool to help, but I haven't used the tool. In fact I lost it.
