Hi,
I have a FitBit Versa, running firmware v32.33.1.30 and have it Bluetooth connected to my Samsung S8, running Android 8.0.
FitBit has been great! Yesterday, I got two text message notifications; I read them and tapped CLEAR ALL. All I get is a red message that says something like action failed and these same two message notifications are still on my watch, even though I have gotten several other notifications (text, EMail & App) and all go away when I read the message on my phone. I even deleted the text messages, but still to no avail
Would very much appreciate some help

I don't get an message saying failed. Mine just don't clear. I am having same issue.

I have the same problem. I have cleared the message from my phone and synced my FitBit but it still will not clear. Suggestions?

Hi, restart your Versa several times in a row by pressing and holding the left and right lower buttons together untill you see the Fitbit logo and release the buttons. That should do the trick.
