I have the Versa Lite and cannot open or read text messages. I will get a notification on my versa lite that says "New Message" and underneath 1 New Message, when I hit open, it disappears from my Versa and opens the text on my phone. I would like the actual message to appear on my Versa. Have tried multiple times to change settings,unpair, etc and nothing has worked

There is an ongoing bug with text messages but I'm not quite sure your problem is the same. Check the following thread to see if you think it is the same problem. If it is, that's where fitbit are posting updates:
