Text messages not coming through

• Hi, I have searched everywhere to resolve my notification issue and have done everything Fitbit has suggested. I can now get phone calls on my Versa but am still not receiving text messages. It all seemed to start with the latest update. My phone is an LG Xpower.
• The red notification that is on my app states: Notification service not running. A phone re-rstart is required to re-renable notifications on your tracker.
• I've done that multiple times and still nothing. Thanks in advance.

I am having the same issue, but I have an iPhone. I can get notification for other apps, like remind and phone calls, but not text messages! I’m following this post! I hope someone has some good tech support that will actually work.

Panda, your problem is most likely caused because your phone is not on the list of Approved Devices.

Mellow, the recent Apple update caused your problem and Fitbit techs are working to find a solution.

I am having similar issues since I updated my iPhone, very frustrating! I’ve tried everything too. I hope Fitbit finds a solution soon!

That's a shame if that is the case because it used to work just fine. 😣

I just spoke with Fitbit customer service. They are "aware" of the problem, it is on their end. They said they are working on a fix but no time frame, and to stay tuned here.

Nope, they just started coming in again. I was shocked.

I removed the device and the app from my iphone (a few attempts) and shutdown the phone, then reloaded all and now I am getting texts

I forgot to mention that I also had to change the settings on my phone for messages to 'show previews-always, which I don't like, but hoping it is temporary until they correct the issue
