I saw some had similiar problems with Apple, but all of a sudden I am not receiving text messages on my Versa. I receive all all notifications. I have a Samsung S8.

Same here.  I have a Note 9.  I think mine went with the last update.  I have done just about everything imaginable to get it to work.
