Today is 9/19 I just got the new Fitbit versa 2 on Sunday (9/15). Have been really excited about the watch and it was working great. Now the issue of Bluetooth connection had come up. I used to be able to receive text message notifications on the watch and reply. I now CAN'T. I've gleaned that this has something to do with the fact that the Bluetooth connection between phone and watch isn't working. I also can't set up saved music on the watch via music app for the same reason.
I've tried all the trouble shooting methods that I could find and think of.
Need help ASAP. I'm very disappointed that this happened. I also noticed that this started happening sometime around the setting app update. Not sure if it's correlated but I'd like a quick resolve to this issue.

@Ganoe Have you tried performing a restart of your Versa 2? Is your phone on the supported devices list that Nelly posted?
I'm using a Galaxy S8 and it is supported. But I actually got it to work by uninstalling and reinstalling the fitbit app.
Best AnswerSo after doing all the trouble shooting steps that was directed, someone suggested uninstalling and reinstalling the fitbit app and it worked for me!
