Text notifications disappear from Versa 2

My text notifications disappear from my Versa 2. I would like notifications to stay on my watch until I choose to delete them, like it works on my Blaze. This is an extremely useful function, where I can quickly revisit a recent notification on my watch which I have already seen on my phone - an address or the name of a store that I can quickly view again on my wrist that was recently sent via a message. Blaze works beautifully in this respect. Why remove a wonderful functionality from new watch upgrades. I’ve heard issues of cache and similar, but the Versa 2 has certainly much more more memory than the Blaze. Please reintroduce this functionality.  It has really been disappointing not having this on the new watch.

Welcome to the Community @DKrijt. Sorry for the delayed reply.

I'm glad to hear that you updated from Blaze to a Versa 2.

This functionality hasn't been removed from Versa 2, your notifications should be store on your device, it will store 28 notifications and then they will be replaced with the new ones. I would like you to make sure you set them following this procedure. Could you let me know if they are just disappearing when you view them?

Remember that if you clear a notification from your phone, it will be removed from your Fitbit device.

Let me know how it goes.

Hi! I just upgraded from a Blaze to a Versa2 and am having the same issue where I'll get a notification on my watch of a new text message, but if I don't look at it right away, it disappears. I've tried to restart my Fitbit and have turned the bluetooth on my phone on and off. Nothing seems to help. Please advise.

Hello- this apparently is the way the Versa 2 functionality works. It is different than how my Blaze behaved. My messages would remain on my Blaze until I deleted them from the tracker. In the Versa models, as soon as you view the message or notification on the phone, it disappears from the tracker- not so on the Blaze. I do prefer the Blaze way of working.
