Day one with the Versa. Love the design and functionality. Everything seems to be working fine, except text notifications from my iPhone X. The Versa receives other notifications such as calls, and from Apps such as Sky News so the Versa can obviously ‘see’ the Versa and notifications must be switched on (text notifications are definitely switched on), but text messages aren’t coming through. Anyone else experience this and have any thoughts on a solution?

I've got an iphone X as well, and it doesn't matter how I try to enable / disable (and re-enable) or sync it I still cannot get text messages.
This is like the second major issue I've got with a "so-called" iwatch killer.
Check that your phones notification settings are on for the text app you use. I believe you also need Show in History on in iPhones and I believe you also need your lock screen set to show rather than hide.

Your correct @NellyG
I probably should have read the manual as its stipulated in there. Basically the only option I didn't have enabled for messages was (within the notification settings) was "Show in History".
It's weird why it needs all 3 of these settings, as it shouldn't matter how the notifications are set for the iphone as its related to a fitbit device. #rantover
Best Answer@Blinkus I agree it is weird to have to tick so many boxes, but glad you now have them ticked!

I have the X as well and it also works if you have the message content set as hidden for lock screen if that matters to you.
awesome, I didn't think of checking that, but I've got the hide on lock screen set, it works great.
Best AnswerI’m having the same issue and have an iPhone X..... I have done all the stuff suggested on the forum and still not coming through.
I finally got it to work!!!! I highly suggest you wipe the watch out to factory settings and set up the watch from scratch. I’m having no issues now.
How do you wipe it out to factory settings? I have reset the watch already by holding the middle and side button.
Best AnswerYou have to go into settings.....scroll down to ABOUT hit about.... scroll again to the setting that says FACTORY RESET..... tap and wipe out watch.... after complete set up as you did when you took the watch out of the box .
Best Answerhey all. i have the same Notification issues, worked for the first day and then stopped. Fitbit did an Android update 2 days ago which included Notifications but it hasnt resolved anything for me. Has is helped anyone else?

Best AnswerI just got my Versa tonight. I have a Galaxy S6. My emails synced and I get the notifications. But text messages do not. I thought I changed everything but may be missing something. Any help would be appreciated.
Hey Jackie, mine is working now. Fitbit had me go in and delete the Fitbit from my Bluetooth on my iPhone X and then go in and add a new Versa and set it up again that way and it works perfectly. I hope this works for you. If not contact Fitbit support.
