Texts on Fitbit Versa clear too quickly.

When I receive a text message, my Fitbit vibrates and the text flashes on the screen, almost too quickly to read. When I swipe down to look at the notification menu, it says “you’re all caught up.” How can I get to my texts that came through?

Let me help you with your Versa notifications. You should see your most recent notifications on your Versa when you swipe down the screen. Which phone are you using? Is it compatible? Let's start by refreshing the link between your phone and your Versa:

 

  • Go to your phone's bluetooth settings and remove all devices listed there.
  • Restart your phone and restart your device.
  • Also, if you are using an Android device, check that your app has the necessary permissions (settings > apps > Fitbit > permissions) and make sure bluetooth and location services (GPS) are on.
