Thinking about getting Versa Lite

I've had Charge 2 for a couple of years (or so), and it still works fine except the band is falling apart and I'm going to lose it one day for sure.  I like the looks and sound of Versa Lite, but see a lot of complaints here about it.  My phone is IPhone 7 and it sounds like that is not compatible for much on it.  Please tell me what you LIKE about Versa Lite - especially if you are using an IPhone 7.  And, maybe tell me what you don't like if you have the IPhone 7.  Thanks  🙂

Hi @mavimet, welcome to the community.

The Versa Lite is a nice device, but really you need to decide what features you want in the device. The main differences I can think of are below.

Going from a Charge 2 to Versa Lite you will lose the ability to track floors, so if that's something that's important to you it's worth bearing in mind.

You will of course gain the ability to access the fitbit app gallery to choose from many different apps and clock faces. You will also have the advantage of having a swim proof tracker.

As for using an iPhone 7, the only thing I can think of that you won't be able to do are the quick replies for notifications. This is just an iPhone limitation in general and not exclusive to the iPhone 7.

Thanks for the information N8teGee.  I do keep track of my floors, but I'm sure I will still walk up flights instead of riding, so I can handle that.  I appreciate the information.  🙂
