I can't figure out how to get the correct time back.

I have the same problem. Downloaded update this morning and after it was done, the time and date reset to 5:00 on Dec. 31. Have resynced at least two dozen times with no effect. The watch is now useless and from  what I read, resyncing is the only way to change the time.  Got it for Christmas.
