Hi
My wife fitbit is having issues with displaying the correct time. Right now it is approximately 40 min behind my Apple Watch. It varies how much it is off.
Does anyone know how to fix this?

Hi
Please verify in the Fitbit app (phone) that the timezone settings are still correct on her account.
After opening the app, tap the profile picture in the upper left corner. In the account settings, scroll down to "advanced settings".
If automatic settings are enabled, please check if the timezone and location is set correctly, if it is, feel free to restart the tracker.

How do I restart my Fitbit device? .
When the timezone, location.. is incorrect, it's possible to disable the automatic settings and set the timezone / location manually. After the tracker sync's the next time, the correct settings are used.
Hope it helps

Thanks. I will try, however I would expect the Versa to be off an even number of hours if it was related to timezones.

Unfortunately it didnt work. Removed the automatic timezone even though it was correct. Did a reset and turned off and on again. The watch is 5 min off now.

Awesome troubleshooting Mikkelmaan
Less awesome that her tracker is staying a few minutes behind. Is the tracker under warranty? Since having tried everything possible, the Fitbit Support Team can be contacted when desired, if contacting them, mention what you've already tried to speed things up.
It's up to them to decide regarding warranty.
~ When having recently bought the tracker from a local store, it may be faster to exchange at the store of purchase with the receipt.
Best Wishes 🍀
