Tracking cycling accurately

My Versa is not measuring my cycling accurately. The GPS only show part of the route and the total distance is incorrect e.g. recording 0.6km instead of 19km. 

How can I rectify this. Tried changing settings numerous times to no avail. Appreciate some suggestions.

Hello @1404 thanks for bringing this to my attention, it's nice to see you again participating here in the Community Forums, sorry for the delay in responding your post.

 

I appreciate the information and details that were shared in your post, thanks for troubleshooting this situation prior to posting. To better assist you with this, can you please let me know when was the first time you experienced this and how many times since then? Also, this is occurring with the Bike exercise only or with other activities too? If such is the case, which with exercises you experienced this? Can you please let me know which Android mobile device you're using to sync your Fitbit? In the meantime I receive your answers, please restart your device.
