Tracking without phone

Hi,

I bought my Versa 2 a few days ago, absolutely love it - I love running but hate having to take my phone as it’s quite a large phone

what information does the versa 2 actually track about my run if I don’t take my phone? Time, distance, heart rate etc? Does it update with the missing information once I get home and it syncs with my phone?

I feel like I’ve seen a few similar questions but no answers that answer specifically what it tracks!

thank you

Without your phone, the only thing missing is the GPS info, i.e. map and GPS distance.  You will still get distance but instead of measured by GPS, it estimates by multiplying number of steps times stride length.  GPS data cannot be filled in later, but time, heart rate, ... are still recorded.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.
