@Susiedee55   No problem.  Like I wrote, I don't have a Versa 2 on my account right now.  But this is where I think you will find it.  Tap on your Exercise app on the Versa 2 itself.  Select Run.  There is a gear icon on the screen.  Tap on that.  Swipe up until you get to Run Detect (or words like that) and make sure it is toggled to Off.

Hello @Susiedee55 and welcome to the Help forum.  I don't have a Versa 2 on my account, so I am using the Versa 2 manual for guidance.  Open the Exercise app and choose Run.  Tap on the gear icon to get to the specific run settings.  You should be able to find the Run Detect option there.  Toggle it to off.  That should do it.

Thanks for your help but if you mean to toggle off at the auto recognise line, I have tried that. It then says run ignored but unfortunately it isn’t ignored. I have also changed the minutes to 90 in the hope that it won’t activate for the duration of my walk but that doesn’t help either. I would just like to see calories burned when I do my walk not the pace 😞 but thanks anyway.

@Susiedee55   The feature I am describing is different from the auto-recognize exercise feature (SmartTrack).  Fitbit introduced a feature on the original Versa that vibrates when detects a run and gives you an option to turn on the GPS and continue using the Run exercise shortcut.  It is also on the Versa 2 and 3.  It is on by default.  It sounds like your walk is brisk enough to be perceived as a run.  Please check the settings in the Run exercise shortcut like I described.  The auto-recognition feature doesn't give you any type of vibration or notification.  It gives you information after the fact.

Thanks so much for your help, I really appreciate it. I must be in the wrong spot I think. Haven’t had my Fitbit for very long. Can you please tell me exactly how to get into the area you are talking about. Sorry to be a pain. Thanks so much.
