My Versa was synced into an Apple device app. This device has since been damaged and is beyond repair. I am trying to sync to a new device, so I can update time and date etc.....but getting the ‘unlock with your phone’ message on the Fitbit.
I have tried a reset and a hard factory reset.
nothing is working.....
Help please!!!

That's easy @Mustangkellie your tracker is not setup to a phone, but your Fitbit account.
Find another phone, download the Fitbit app. Log into your Fitbit app.
Go to your Versa settings, Device Lock, put in your phones unlock code and change the pin code.
I'm assuming the old phone will not turn on.
Try the help doc.
Once it is unlocked, set the pin for Fitbit pay only..

It sounds like at some point the tracker may have been removed from a Fitbit account
Try logging into the Fitbit account the tracker was connected to.
A broken phone will not remove the tracker.
