Tried to update Versa2.
I seen the Fitbit logo and the uploading meter on my Versa2 which filled up and then it went back to its home screen. After 5more minutes I notice no changes and still on the home screen so I assumed it had finished updating, (it did not tell me how long the update would take) and the loading page on the app seemed stuck or frozen and I could not get out of that page. It did not tell me how long the update would take either before I went ahead with the initial update.
So I loaded up a few game apps and went back to fitbit app later to see if it had unfrozen.
When I turned on the Fitbit app it was back to the standard dashboard type page, but telling me to update again.
I tried to but now the app can’t find my Versa2 ?!? It asks if my Versa2 is turned on and of course it is and it’s got 90% power in it.

I am close to the wifi which is only 1 meter away, so it should be picking me up as it picks up other wifi devices from further distances. I’m also 2 minutes slow going by the time display on my Versa2.
Im really wishing I hadn’t tried updating now!

So how can I get the Fitbit app to find me so it knows I’ve updated?
Will I have to update again and if so how can I do this when it won’t find me?
Has anyone else encountered the same problem with the update?

Also trying to post these questions and this page keeps saying “unexpected error occurred” ??

I just found that my iPadOS needed an update. It’s now 13.05.01

I tried the Fitbit app page again, but no difference.

It still says to update my Versa2, however the app still won’t find my Versa2.

Does anyone know what I should do next?

Ive looked around for similar problems however there doesn’t seem to be many around that has had problems with Versa2 unable to be found after a update attempt.

I turned off and on Bluetooth in my iPads settings and tried to search for Versa2, but that did not work either.

After updating my iPad and pushing off and on Bluetooth in my iPads settings I went back to fitbit app and to my surprise it was syncing and the part asking to update was gone!

I hope that means the Versa2 has updated.

MY PROBLEM IS SOLVED.

I am not sure what fixed it, but I’m sure glad the Versa2 is connecting with the app again!
