I just updated the app, and now when I go to log my food, in stops & quits. I get the message that I should update the app when "the developer fixes the bug." So, when will it be fixed?

I see there was just a new version of the Fitbit app released. Don't know but hopefully fixing this problem. It will come thorough your phone's Google Play Store, though might take at least several days or more to reach everyone.

So you are talking about phone app, not firmware update, right? Android or IOS? Update to which app version?
Where did you get this message - on phone? within Fitbit app, or on phone outside of app?

Sorry, yes details would be nice 🙂 It's my relatively new phone, and it's android. Samsung Galaxy A53. The message is on my phone when I try to scroll through the food section of the app. Exact message says: "Something went wrong with Fitbit. Fitbit closed because this app has a bug. Try updating this app after its developer provides a fix for this error." I don't know about app version. I noticed it wasn't syncing properly, so I re-installed the app the other day. Everything seems to be syncing but now the app closes while I'm trying to load foods in the calorie tracker.

You can get the app version by tapping your profile pic at top left, then scroll down a bit to Help & Support; tap that and shows Version right at the top.

And does the same thing keep happening if you try that again?

Yes. But only as I try to scroll through my custom meals that I put together on PC. Usually I can scroll all the way through but now it won't let me and closes the app.

I just reported this as a bug is all I can do. No telling where it goes from here. Sorry. I'm not a Fitbit employee.
