What exactly does the Google acquisition mean for the Versa 2 and is it still worth it to buy it? Will it still receive software updates in the future and will all services continue to work? Will fitbit os development be continued or will the watch even be updated to wear os? Is there any timeline?

Hello @Dominik2308 the sale of Fitbit won't be completed until some time next year. There is no way any of us on the forums and possibly at Fitbit would know the answer to your questions. I would think that Google would see the benefit of continuing iOS products, as well as Windows and Android, it would reach a broad number of consumers. If it's like many other acquisitions, Fitbit would continue as usual and Google would wait to see how things develop before making any major changes. I would say if the Versa 2 is your idea of the smartwatch that suits your lifestyle, then get it and don't worry about the future. No one can predict what the future will bring, so be happy today. Whatever you do, keep on stepping.

I don't think anyone can answer your questions at this time. However, if I called the shots at Google, I would immediately release the SpO2 measurement, then release monthly watch update for Ionic, Versa and Charge 3 watches.

Can't release SpO2 until the federal regulators approve it. This is beyond the power of Google.
