Vera reboots when pulling down Notifications

Hello All,

This appears to be a common problem. You receive a notification on your watch of a message on your phone. When you pull down the window on your watch to read it, the watch restarts.

 

Reformatting the watch does not help. I've been down this road before.

Someone posted a solution awhile back, and I cannot find it. I'm hoping someone has it and can post it below. The solution involved turning off your notifications and re-syncing or re-starting, then going back in an re-activating everything. I just can't remember the order. If you know what I am talking about, please post it below.

@JeffS., a warm welcome to our Community! Sorry for the delay in my reply.

Let me help you with your Versa restarting when viewing notifications. I haven't heard about this issue nor know which troubleshoots you are referring but you could try refreshing the link between your phone and your Versa by doing the following:

  • Go to your phone's bluetooth settings and remove all devices listed there.
  • Restart your phone and restart your device
  • Also, if you are using an Android device, check that your app has the necessary permissions (settings > apps > Fitbit > permissions) and make sure bluetooth and location services (GPS) are on.
