I bought my wife a versa in January of 2019. The other day she had it on the charger. When she took it off the charger, the versa was extremely hot and would not turn on. It’s very disappointing, as she really likes the watch, and it’s not that old. She spoke to someone via the chat option at customer service, but was told that it’s out of warranty and offered no other help. Is there something that can be done?

If it is getting hot do not charge it again.

So there’s nothing that can be done? Can it be fixed? Seems to me that that’s a very expensive watch to get less than two years out of it.
