Versa 2 Constant Rebooting

My 3 month old Fitbit Versa 2 started rebooting constantly. I've tried shutting it down as per other forum instructions and a reboot (when I could actually get to the settings of the Fitbit) and this didn't work. I've let the Fitbit go totally flat and recharged it and this also didn't work. This seems to be a very common issue with the Fitbit Versa 2. Has anyone got a fix for this issue or do I need to get it replaced by Fitbit?

Update here: I let the Fitfit go completely flat overnight then read about the installation of the new software/firmware update. After many failed starts (more than 10 resets/start-ups), I finally managed to upload the software and completely set up the Fitfit from scratch and so far, it all looks good. Make sure the app of your phone is the latest too (as per the Fitbit guide to latest firmware upgrade).

Well, that didn't last long. The Versa 2 is back to constant restarting. The main difference now is that my Versa 2 has now resisted all attempts to revive it (and is now pretty much completely dead). It had a software update a week ago but this may be just a coincidence. I'm taking it back to the store where I bought it. I'm very disappointed with this product, especially considering the hype around Fitbit. Here's to hoping the replacement works better than this one (didn't even last 6 months). If not, I'll attempt to get a refund and change brands. Fitbit, you have one more chance.......
