Versa 2-Counting 17K steps while on charger

Plugged my Versa 2 in to charge. While NOT wearing it it says I stepped over 17K.

Thank you for the information provided.

 

If your Fitbit Versa 2 was placed on a surface near an electrical appliance issuing vibrations, your watch might have recorded them as steps. I would recommend putting your Fitbit device on a different place while charging and see if the issue gets resolved.

 

If necessary, you can negate the extra data by following the instructions in this article in the menu "How do I delete steps and floors in the Fitbit app?".
