Versa 2 - Crazy screen

Hi!

Today my Versa 2 screen started acting like crazy...sometimes, when the screen wakes up it starts to change the contents of the screen as if I was touching it...do you know what could be happening and a way to resolve this?

Yikes @aloaiza 😳 that’s crazy! Maybe restarting your Fitbit Versa 2 will fix this. (Fingers crossed) You will not lose any of your data doing a restart. Just press and hold down the button on the side of your Versa 2 until you see the Fitbit Logo appear then release the button. You should feel the Versa 2 vibrate indicating it is done with restart. If this doesn’t fix the issue go ahead and try the restart a couple more time.

I already tried restarting it a couple times...and even let it turned off for a while but the problem keeps happening from time to time...it is completely random... 😐

Wow…..I’m super sorry the restart doesn’t work! Unfortunately the only recourse is to contact Fitbit Customer Service since even turning your Versa 2 off and on again still doesn’t fix things. Here are ways to contact them: https://myhelp.fitbit.com/s/support?language=en_US I find calling them directly or live chat as the best option. On a side not I wonder if letting it die completely and drain the battery then recharging it might help. Just a thought. But I hope customer service can sort it out for you. If they are able to give a solution it would be extremely helpful if you come back and let me know how they resolved it. Doing so can certainly help other individuals who might unfortunately have the same problem.

Hi - curious did you update your Versa 2 software in the last week? I did and since then the screen statistics scroll on their own like its possess. Last evening it scrolled on its on for almost 2 minutes. Otherwise the screen is frozen. Fitbit rep told be to do a watch replacement. "Setup new device". That didn't fix my Versa's issues.

Hi @Minicooper61 I don't remember updating the watch but it's totally possible...today the watch has been almost impossible to use...what I just did was a factory reset and set it up as a new device, and in the process it looks like it was updated...now I don't see the screen behaving like in the morning but it is not working properly either...so maybe it could be a software issue, right now it is using version 35.72.1.19
