Versa 2 Developer Bridge Connection Error 1006

I cannot connect to the developer bridge on my Versa 2. After a few minutes of "connecting to server....reconnecting" it ends with "connection error 1006". I am on the same network for iPhone, Windows PC, Fitbit Versa 2.

I used to have a Versa, I successfully sideloaded apps multiple times. My Versa heart-rate sensor stopped working, now I have a Versa 2. I removed the Versa from my Fitbit account, added the Versa 2.

  • I have setup Wi-Fi, which rarely ever works or stays connected
  • I have reset the Versa 2 multiple times
  • I have reinstalled the iOS Fitbit app and the Fitbit OS simulator
  • I have rebooted PC, router, phone, and watch

I'm sure I'm forgetting things, but I've done much research and tried every suggestion, nothing has worked.

In my home there are multiple Fitbit device wearers. I tested a different Versa 2 using the same setup process/environment as my Versa 2, and the other Versa 2 connects without any issues.

Once you have clicked developer bridge on the watch, return to the Fitbit Studio and click select device and do refresh until your watch appears, then select it.

Hello, thanks for your reply. I have tried clicking the refresh button in Fitbit Studio while the Versa 2 is attempting to connect, still get "connection error 1006".
