I have a Versa 2 that has been giving me Zone Notifications during my exercise (run). I have tried:
How do I turn off this feature permanently? I have not been able to have a single run since receiving the update without Zone Notifications being ON.

I found a solution.
The software solution won't work for everyone. It's much the same solution to disabling notifications altogether to stop your Versa from vibrating to notify you. From the same software designers would put a Vibration option into Settings and have the only two options be Hard and Harder and not OFF, like every other fully-functioning human being would put in by default, you have to strip away the very functions of the device itself to rid yourself of it vibrating incessantly on your wrist. You'd think that putting the device on silent, do not disturb, never notify me of anything mode would fix it, but those same software designers were keen to believe that during exercise is the one time those settings should be ignored because it's clearly the time the user would most enjoy their wrist vibrating and distracting them. It's not like their devices are designed for people who exercise regularly, after all.
The solution is to go into the Fitbit App on your phone and disable the connected Versa's ability to automatically detect your runs using your GPS. Now, this might be the exact function you bought the device to achieve, in which case, I'd highly recommend my personal favourite solution, the hardware solution.
The hardware solution might be a bit more involved for some people, but it will completely disable your device from ever vibrating. A simple thing to implement as a Fitbit programmer, but somehow they never thought of this—and still haven't thought of this—as an option. They'd rather add more vibrating in subsequent updates than the ability to simply stop it like every other vibrating device currently in existence that isn't under Fitbit's umbrella.
You'll need a hard, flat surface and your phone for referencing.
Now you can use your phone to find a competitor's product and not waste your money again. If, like in my case, it was a gift, you'll have to apologise to the person who gave it to you as their heart was certainly in the right place, they just didn't realise that Fitbit programmers are the reason why household cleaners have warning labels on them telling you not to ingest them.
I'd personally recommend Garmin. Their Vibration option has an OFF. Imagine that!
