Versa 2 Forced Devaluation

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

The value of the product I bought 30 days ago has been reduced 38 percent in three weeks by constant price drops.

I've never experienced such quick price cuts on a successful product before.

If Google intends to keep the price of Versa 2 at $150 or $125 or below permanant they should compensate users that bought the product for $200 for their sudden loss of value.

Hello @Travis76 and welcome to the forums. Sales happen all the time, but especially this time of year. Trying to understand the retail life and values can be confusing, but it's free enterprise. Fitbit puts items on sale, but so do other retailers and often the prices vary. Google won't be the owner of Fitbit until some point next year and no one knows what they will do with prices. You can't expect any retail company to compensate you when a price changes. The true value of anything is what the value is to you, not what you paid for it. Why not enjoy your Fitbit and stop worrying about how much it costs next week or next year. You bought it for fitness tracking, so relax and get stepping.
