After only one month of use, my Versa 2 will no longer stay connected to GPS (I have an iPhone 8).
I’ve read nearly every post on this topic, to no avail:
-My location is ALWAYS on while using fitbit
-Background Refresh is ON
-Cellular Data is ON
- I turn my WiFi off while running
-I tried unpairing and repairing my devices
Despite all of this, my watch will not connect to gps unless my phone is open, and the app is open. The second I close/lock my screen (app is still open) and put my phone in my running belt, the watch goes back into “connecting” mode, and then says “no gps”. Again, I’ve been using the watch and GPS for a MONTH before this started to happen.
To say I’m frustrated is an understatement. I was excited when I purchased the Versa 2 in July 2020. Now I can only track my runs with GPS while my phone and app are open- which is NOT possible. What am I missing? Should I just return my device?
