Versa 2 GPS not working

Hi all. 

 

Just got my first fitbit, the versa 2. Have a lot of issues with it to be honest. However the main issue is. If I go for a bike ride for example, when I get to the destination it says I've only done an extremely short journey something like 0.06 miles every time. Phone connected when I left. Mobile data and GPS on on my phone. Any help on that?

 

Side question: my emails, texts and calls only sometimes come through on the watch, any suggestions?
