Versa 2 Heart Rate ‘stuck’

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

For the last 3 days, my heart rate is frozen on my Versa 2. Just stuck on a number (this number remains even when I take off the tracker or have it charging). I’ve tried shutting it off and back on, looking to see if there is an update, and cleaning it. Does anyone else have any advice?

It is most likely a watch face fault.

To verify, swipe up on the watch to get to the Today section and see if the heart rate changes.

If not, go to Settings on the watch and Off/On the heart rate and then go to the bottom About and then Shutdown.

Place it on the charger or press the button to restart it, charge it and see if that helps.

Mine hasn't recorded anything since May 18th. This really sucks!

Will try that.

Thank you for your response.  I tried this, but unfortunately, had no luck.  Hoping to figure this out soon - not all stats are transferring to my app either.

@bblack1  Data not showing in the App can be an App problem, try

In Android phone Settings *

Apps

Fitbit

Storage - clear cache [not data]

Force Fitbit shutdown

[though it doesn't seem to fully]

Log back in to the Fitbit app

*Quick Shortcut: Press and hold the Fitbit launch icon, then App info [on some phones]

Or for IOS uninstall/reinstall the Fitbit App, and redo all notification setup.

Restart watch and phone after for good measure.

I too am having the same issue as the OP, this morning around 515 am est my watch said my heart rate was 148 , which it wasn't,  and then proceeded to count it as active minutes , even with the watch on the console of my truck it registered on and off active minutes all day. I restarted the watch multiple times , as well as everything you've suggested so far to no avail , I did notice even the light that reads the heart rate on the back of the watch is not lighting up anymore , watch is still in factory warranty .

@Daviedude

It could be one of several problems.

Try a swipe up to see if the Today figures are correct, in which case its a clock face fault.

Try turning off heart rate in Settings, then do a shutdown [in Settings => About], restart and turn heart rate back on.

Just to be sure, check there is no condensation visible in the back windows with a magnifying glass.

If that fails to resolve it try Fitbit Support. They may be able to help you under warranty.

So after quite a while of trouble shooting and testing we weren't able to fix the issue , restarts , resets , firmware , etc . Fitbit did upgrade my case to a higher tech support who then sent me a link to either replace, for free , my existing fitbit or I could take 50% off a new one , I chose to upgrade and bought a new one. Good luck to the OP , hopefully yours is an easier fix. Though I am pleased with the outcome of mine.

This was also my outcome.  Support was very helpful - we tried restarting, factory reset, and sync among many other things, to no avail.  I was also sent a link and offered 50% off of any tracker or a free replacement.
