Versa 2 Mileage

Versa 2 was so highly rated that when I logged in to state my problem, I was totally amazed with the number of problems I saw listed.  But here's my problem as well. I have several of those problems but I didn't see this one listed - it's my main concern.

I have my goal for mileage set at 4 miles.  When I have reached that goal, the circle on the main screen (on the watch and on my phone) does not indicate goal reached. All the other indicators work fine as I reach each goal.  I went in and checked my settings goal and not only is it set to 4 miles, but the chart indicates that I have made that goal - and then some - but still the main screen shows that I have not made the goal.  I walked a couple of times well over that goal and discovered that the indicator on phone and fitbit will turn green when I have gone 6.5 miles.  Double checking, my goal is set at 4 miles (the settings area indicates I have made that goal).  Tried resetting the goal, etc.  nothing helps.  Here's hoping someone out there can help.

Note 4 miles = 6.5 kilometers

There seems to be an issue of Fitbit confusing the 2 distance units.

In my limited testing, the issue was apparent when you set the goal on the fitbit.com dashboard, the phone app converts it to other units, and vice versa.

I suggest try setting the goal on your phone.  If it already shows that goal, change it to something else, sync, then change back again.

You shouldn't have to do that, but it might get around your problem.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.

Excellent answer.  I think that is exactly what's happening.  Having been to hundreds of 10k in my life, I know it is changing it to kilometers.  I took your advice.  Change, sync, change back.  Still same problem.  Everywhere I can look (settings, etc.), it says "miles".  But somewhere before it gets to the display, it changes to K.  I will wait until this pandemic thing is over and chat with someone in the company.  Or just return the Versa 2 and go back to my Charge 2.  Thanks for the advice.  Keene60
