Versa 2 Music Download - Fitbit Desktop App Not Working

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I am trying to download music onto my Versa 2, which needs to be completed on a computer using the Fitbit Desktop app.  Unfortunately, when I download the app through Microsoft Store the app does not recognize or have listed the Versa 2 as an option to add device.  Even though logged into my account using my username and password the app does not have or recognize the Versa 2 as my device.  I have already added the device to my mobile app and all is working well there.  When I log onto to Fitbit via the internet it is recognized there but not on the Fitbit Desktop app.  So,  to date I cannot add music to my Versa 2 which I would like to have for my workout.  When will this be fixed???

For music downloads you don't use the fitbit app on the computer. Instead you need to download the Fitbit Connect software from www.fitbit.com/setup

To do that you need to select "PC" before clicking the download button.

Hi Steve, I’ve downloaded the Fitbit connect software on my pc for my Versa 2. I logged in as normal and clicked on the Versa 2 when choosing my model to set up it says mobile set up only (which is done already on my phone) and just stays on this loading page forever.

Could you please give me any tips for connecting it via that app?

Hi, Did you get this sorted, I'm having exactly the same problem. It's not listed at all. I am using a Mac too, which wasn't a problem with my last Fitbit, but the Versa isn't listed on the desktop app now.

SteveH, your link doesn't working. And if, finally, find that app for downloading. It turned to be that desktop version for Mac doesn't support Versa at all. Please, do something with it.

It's not listed on Windows 11 either.

Hello @dk1699 and welcome to the Community.  You added on to an older thread.  I'm sorry, but Fitbit deactivated all personal music transfer on October 13, when it deactivated both Fitbit Connect and the Fitbit app for Windows 10.
