I have a Samsung Galaxy S10+. When I received my Fitbit for Christmas EVERYTHING worked fine, however after I updated my phone to the most recent Android version my Fitbit no longer receives texts messages. This is incredibly frustrating because it gets literally every other notification. I updated the firmware on my Fitbit last night and for a few minutes I received texts on my device. BUT, here we are 12 hours later and I'm back to not getting texts. I've followed all of the recommendations and troubleshooting steps for the past few weeks and this morning. Nothing works. I wanted this Fitbit because of its compatibility with text messaging. Other than being a fancy digital watch, this product has very little use for me without these notifications.

Doing a search of the Android and Hardware Boards seems to say that this is an issue with some S10 owners that Fitbit is looking into.
