HI -- One week ago, I unpaired, then restarted my Versa 2 with my account in order to change my email address associated with the account (on the advice of the person on the other end of the call in your customer service department). Since then:
1. My device is not showing data (time and date only).
2. My phone app and my computer dashboard show that Versa is tracking my steps and Zone minutes, and these numbers are updated regularly.
3. I again disconnected and reconnected to the app, with the same outcome.
4. The Fitbit app is connected to bluetooth.
How can I get my device to display my steps?

Welcome to the Fitbit Community, @JeanJordan. I´m sorry to hear your Versa 2 is not displaying your data and thank you for mentioning the steps you have followed in order to show it.
Have you tried changing your watch clock face in order to get more information on it?
