Versa 2 Screen Frozen

Hello,

My Versa 2's screen is not swiping and is frozen on the main home screen. I have restarted over a dozen times and it did not fox the issue.

I would be happy to try a factor reset but I think you can only do it from the settings app on the watch, which does not help me because I cannot get to the settings screen.

Does anyone know a trick to do a factory reset without needing to go through the screens?

Or, does anyone have a different fix for my frozen screen?

Thank you in advance!

@SherBear87 You can attempt hard reset using button:

  1. Hold the back button for about 8 seconds.
  2. When the Fitbit logo disappears:
    1. Release the button briefly (for less than 2 seconds).
    2. Hold the button again until you feel a second, longer vibration, which indicates you initiated the factory reset.

You can set up the watch back to the Fitbit account by following the instructions on this link: How do I set up my Fitbit device?

If you're not successful with the factory reset, I am afraid you will need to reach out to Customer Support to guide you through the next steps. Here's the link to Customer Support page.

I just did this and was able to do a factory reset.

The screen is still not swiping though and is now frozen on the quick tips start page.

I will go through the customer support page you linked.

Thank you for all your help !

@SherBear87 the good news is you should still be under warranty and as far as I know Fitbit are pretty good about their replacement policy. Good luck! 😄
