Versa 2 not counting steps right

I bought this Versa 2 watch for almost the amount of an Apple Watch. I keep thinking I’ve hit my goal of 10,000 steps. But as I look back, I haven’t done very much. It’s counting steps when I’m in my car, when I’m putting clothes on, when I’m just sitting there. It’s ridiculous. I spent a ton of money on it and got it less than a year ago. I just wanted a nice working fitness watch
