Have tried to deal with online support, but answers haven’t helped. e.g.—told me to press the 3 buttons for a reset... Versa 2 only has one. Told me to press button while connected to charger... but it is hidden inside new charger!

Anyhow, maybe you folks can help....My downloaded clock faces (3rd party & Fitbit) both revert to a standard screen after 10 seconds. Only shows when press button.

See before & after pics.

You have the "Always-on Display Mode" enabled.

Unfortunately, the way Fitbit implemented the always-on display is that it will show a basic low-battery-intensive clock face (and not the clock face you choose) after your screen timeout is reached. You can increase the screen timeout to up to 60 seconds, but that will decrease battery life and it will still show the basic display after 60 seconds.

Let me know if you need instructions for how to disable the always-on display mode.

Thanks, that works.

Kept the ‘Always on’ button off & then activated the Wake button so flip of wrist shows the downloaded clock face. See pic.

Hope the support staff reads this as they were not helpful so they opened a support case.
