Based on the press release for the Versa 2, an spO2 sensor will become standard and be used primarily for the sleep score.
Does anyone know if this will also be used in fitness tracking? i.e. when working out, would O2 levels be measured and considered when calculating the overall fitness score?

Mine appeared yesterday. Had nothing to do with logging out and back in.
at least all the way back to early Dec 2019.
Cool

Wow, the EOV gods have found me worthy at last!🥰
I dont know how to contain myself and express my gratitude 🤣🤣
Mine also goes back to when I first got my Versa 2 in Dec.
Let me just stir up the pot for **ahem**s-n-giggles 🤭 do you ever wonder if they can somehow control our oxygen levels too? 😇
If so, you all know I'll be the first to go lolol! 🤣

I do have the O2 graph under sleep monitoring, watch purchased a week ago. I was hoping to see the actual spO2 levels rather than variations in the level and I'm a little disappointed that there are no apps available which deal with the spO2 sensor.
My assumption is that the spO2 sensor just doesn't work well enough for absolute values, whereas a change in values is much easier to determine. So even if fitbit provided that number, or opened it up to 3rd party developers, we'd probably be unhappy with inaccurate readings. I'd guess it would also introduce potential liability, for instance if your watch said your level was 90% and it was really 85%, and you relied on that rather than rush to an ER. So I think it's better to just forget about this issue as a likely waste of time and accept that the relative variations measurement is as good as we're going to get.

Hello ,
a few days ago I saw the EOV graph in my versa two, sleep section. Very nice fda approved. But now I don’t see it anymore. Down-dated??! On iPhone that is, and located in Greece. Why is it rolled out countrywise , it beats me.

Ps
mam needs this (apnea problems) and wanted to gift her one versa or ionic. When Will the definite update materialize?

I got my first action variation chart on last night's sleep my first one I've seen yet.
I did see there was a Beta app out there somewhere, but they already had their beta testers for the app so I did not qualify. Plus I miss that by several weeks at least.
O2 variation is better than nothing, you can get an accurate thumb sized spo2 reader at pretty much any drug store... Just no way to get the data into fitbit. Manually or otherwise.

True that. They like to talk...
on the other hand they are not apple...and they don t have their means. They try but they are limited. I mean they don t even know if they have a Spo2 sensor or not. I don t think they have. Anyway even if they measure using infrared they are not showing the value and you can t perform a quick test.

Dream on...they are fitbit, not apple 😁
I bought a versa 2 but I m considering to give it back to the store.
I will buy an apple watch 5 series
these fibit watches are a joke...When I heard about this spo2 feature I didn t know the context and I really tought that have it for real, but this is bull**ahem**
let s be honnest, since blaze came out, the only thing they added is the weather, NFC, and the music...but hello, this is a fitness tracker, what improvements did fitbit added in this way? Apple has ecg, spo2, if you swin they even recognize the swimming style and fitbit added something about spo2 but no value is displayed, not even for the sleeping phases...only differences...I repeat, this is a joke..

Is the spO2 sensor available in all Versa 2’s now or still just randomly?

Will there be a way to spot check spo2? During the day? at any given time? Just to get a one-time measurement? I don't usually wear this versa lite to bed, but I'd like to intermittently know my oxygen throughout the day, especially during levels of high activity.

But I have note 10 (android). Can I use apple device/watch independently without Apple/iOS phone?

The sensor is has been in every Versa 2 made.
But it has now been enabled in ALL of them.
But only reading is the oxygen variations while you are sleeping

Yes, it was just "activated". I don't usually wear a watch to bed. I just wanted to do oxygen spot checks throughout the day...you know how you can check your pulse, or steps? like that, bit for o2. Just wanted to check oxygen during or after a workout or just randomly. That's all, no huge request.

I think most of us want that functionality, but Fitbit doesn't seem interested in providing it.
