Versa 2 Today Screen Crashes After Update

Hello,

I updated my Versa 2 last night and now when I swipe up from bottom to go to the ‘today’ screen with my step stats and all that it crashes and brings me back to the watch face. Any idea on what to do? I have already restarted the Versa.

I am having the same problem. Have you managed to solve this yet? It happened straight after an update.

It has not being fixed yet. It’s very annoying and frustrating at times !
I called customer service but it didn’t work out.

Nothing yet - perhaps if we ‘vote’ on the original post it will get more visibility? I’m 100% sure it’s due to the update - I’ll check to see if there’s a way to revert an update.

Same here. Flashing Fitbit logo after update, won't get after that point.

Hi everybody ! Thank you for your messages and efforts. 

Just to confirm, you restarted the Fitbit Watches by holding the button for 10 seconds, releasing it when the logo appeared?
Did you all see the Fitbit logo on the Versa 2?

What do you see when the Today site crashes?

Did you recorded any activities prior the crash?

I have tried holding the button down for 10 seconds but it still won’t let me look at the today stats when I swipe up. It just says today and goes straight back to the clock face. I have only had this Fitbit for a week as it is a replacement for one that broke. This one was working okay until I had an update.

I have had the same experience as @Lucysquad  - I've restarted the FitBit (holding the button down for 10+ seconds until you see the Fitbit logo) and even after restarting when you're on the clockface and swipe up you see the 'Today' screen for about a second before it returns you to the clock face.

Have you tried changing the clock face? How do I change the clock face on my Fitbit device?
 If  you haven't change it yet, try using a clock face from Fitbit. 
If already changed, did you see any improvements? If so , let me know what clock face were you using.

I have the same issue, I did all the steps above but it did worked for half a day and then it went back to the same issue. Do you recommend to do the same steps again? What should I do?

Hello i have tried to reset but it only keeps blinking with the logo... And
in the app it says that it can't connect. But now it has turned completely
off/black instead. I'm trying to charge it but nothing seems to happen then
either. Can't do anything with it... 😔 Is there anything that i can do to
make it work again?

Same issue. My watch just shows the logo screen and vibrates frequently. Does not connest to the app

I tried changing the clock and restarting again but still the same problem. Any other ideas?

Mine has started crashing since the update without going to the "today" screen.  At random times, it will stop registering a heartbeat, vibrate and crash, restart itself, vibrate to tell me it is back on and then repeat.

I've tried changing clock faces, restarting it myself (holding button for 10 seconds), and putting it on the charger and trying to update settings.  Sometimes it is fine for a few hours, but there seems to be no particular reason for it.

Hi @all

Thank you for your messages and further information. 

Please, before proceeding, sync your Versas 2 with your accounts, so that the data on the watches do not get lost. 
As 1 time exception, I'll recommend you to reset the Versa 2 to the factory settings. 
On your Fitbit device, open the Settings app >About >Factory Reset.

Afterwards, on the Fitbit app, setup the Versa 2 as a new device and use it until you receive the banner to update it again. 
Perform the update and let me know how it looks afterwards. 

@AnnaPanna13 , as your Versa 2 is not charging, try the steps and tips here.Why isn't my Fitbit device's battery charging?

But my watch doesn't connect to the app at all and I can't do anything with
my versa 2 at all. Can't get to the menu in the watch. So i can't reset it
either. I don't even know if it's turned off or just not responding.
