I just got my Versa 2 today and have been trying to figure something out with my Samsung S20 Ultra.
Facebook Messenger is my default messaging app and my notification previews have always been "off" so that when I receive a message I have the conversation bubble pop up with a numerical notification in red indicating how many new messages I have but I do not see my contact's message until I manually open up the conversation. This is how I like it in case I am showing people something on my phone and someone messages me, the message is kept private but I do know that someone has messaged me.
I wanted to be able to read my messages on my Versa 2, however, so I dug around the boards on here and I saw that notification previews in Messenger should be turned on. I did that & it has worked in the sense that I can now see and respond to my Messenger messages on my watch. The problem is that, now, message previews appear on my phone as well.
My question is this: is there a way where I can technically keep notification previews "on" and be able to read & respond to my Messenger messages on my Versa 2 while not seeing message previews on my phone?
