Versa 2: Your data was not cleared message

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

So Fitbit recommend I update my Fitbit, I done this and it’s never worked since.

I have followed multiple “resets” and “factory resets” and it continues to say “ restart failed. Your data was not clearer. Please try again”

I can’t find anyway to get it to stop doing this. They’ve kindly made it impossible to return the watch. The watch is only 6 months old.

Any help or advice is appreciated

Hi @George_Brown, welcome to the Community Forums!

Thanks for bringing this to our attention and for trying some troubleshooting steps before posting over here. Based on the information that was shared in your post and the error message that was described, it seems that the firmware update process of your Versa 2 didn't go though completely and this is the reason why the device is prompting you to try again. That being said, I recommend you to learn more about how to update the firmware version of your Fitbit device with the information that's specified on this help article. Then, please move forward to the troubleshooting steps that are specified on: Why can't I update my Fitbit device? and let me know how it goes.

Please keep me posted.
