Versa 2 battery draining fast

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I haven't even been using my new versa 2 for a week (had to get a new one because my other was acting up) but the battery is lasting about 24 hrs. And my other one didn't drain that fast I checked the settings and they were the same I dint understand why it's doing this. I saw other people were having the same problem. but I haven't had this device for a week yet it shouldn't be doing that.

It's getting worse goes from 100%to 49% in 12 hrs and I was sleeping most of that. its ridiculous... I dont use always on I use dim brightness. My previous versa 2 before it broke would go to 100% to 89% in 24 hrs

I'm seeing similar behavior. Had it about 6 weeks. Sometimes I get a week on a charge, sometimes 3 days, sometimes less than 24 hours. I am wearing it as a watch, very rarely use it for anything else. Seems unlikely to be hardware given the variance; I suspect the software is buggy. My old Charge 3 reliably got me through the week with the same use pattern, even after about a year. I think I'm going to revert to that and return this piece of junk.

I gave up on it and returned it. Back on my Charge 3 which just works. The
Versa was a total failure at aGPS tracking too, while the Charge 3 works.

I have also been having the same issues. I’ve noticed recently that the battery life is getting shorter and shorter. It was fully charged almost 24 hours ago and it’s down to 20%. I do not  use it for anything other than a watch and step counts, I do have notifications on for text and calls. Ever since Fitbit updated to where you can’t turn off the always sync the battery life  stinks!

I wonder if it is the software, because I have also had to start charging mine every other day, and I have turned off or adjusted down everything I can think of and everything listed. I've has the Versa 2 less than 6 months and I have fewer notifications, alarms, and reminders than when I first started using this thing and I still can't get the battery to last more than two days lately.

I’ve also been encountering a decline in battery life since July after the removal of being able to choose all-day sync or not in the Fitbit app. As it would seem that the removal of this option spikes the battery of my Versa 2 when Bluetooth is on. For instance one night I had forgotten to turn off my Bluetooth on my phone, and by the time I woke the next morning my versa’s battery was completely depleted. This needs to be addressed, I got this Versa 2 in the midst of June after my original Versa died. There are no guides, and I’ve read them all for the Versa series.

Right now, as it stands my Versa 2 goes from a full charge to 50-60% battery life in 3-4 days, without using extraneous functions, including exercise tracking.
