Versa 2 battery draining fast

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I have been having this problem since the most recent update. I will charge my Fitbit to 100% and it is dead within 2 hours. Battery completely drained. I have not had any issues until now. I have tried the trouble shooting recommended with no success.

@klyons7991, it's great to see you in our Fitbit Community. I'm sorry to hear that your Versa's battery drains fast. I appreciate the time spent trying to get this issue resolved before contacting our forums.

In order to avoid providing the same information, I'd like to know what troubleshooting steps you have tried.

In the meantime, try the tips that are listed in this help article. After this, monitor the battery's behavior and see if the issue gets fixed.

Hi Kristen,

We’re sorry to hear your battery is still draining faster than expected.

We’d like you to do a battery test to see how long your battery lasts after
a full charge. Please do the following:
1. Disable the features that can impact battery life as described in
https://help.fitbit.com/articles/en_US/Help_article/2004
2. Fully charge your tracker.
3. Sync your tracker 5-6 times a day.
4. Wear your tracker until it is fully depleted.

When your battery is completely drained, meaning that your tracker is no
longer responsive and you no longer see the low battery indicator, let us
know the day you fully charged your tracker and the day it was fully
depleted.

With this information, we’ll be able to better research how long your
tracker's battery is lasting.

Hopefully this gets you back on track. If you have any other questions or
concerns, please don't hesitate to contact us.

Sincerely,

Karen M and the Fitbit Team

Hi there,

I followed all above instructions and had my Versa 2 fully charged at 100%
at 3:40pm. At 5:50pm my Versa 2 had completely died and shut off due to
dead battery.

Please advise next steps for resolving this.

Thank you.

Fully charged at 2/25 at 3:40pm.
