Every so often (maybe 3-4 times since I got it in December) my versa 2 will go from being mostly charged to completely dead in less than 24 hours with barely any use. Yesterday I charged my versa to 87% at noon and this morning (7:30) it is completely dead. I did nothing out of the ordinary with it, and I’m using a Fitbit watch face. The screen already is set to only turn on when I press the button and I don’t get enough notifications to cause this. I didn’t workout yesterday or use any apps either.
It’s really frustrating to have this happen because I can never trust this as my alarm if it can just die on a nearly full battery.
Oh and I’ve restarted it so many times before to solve other issues so I don’t think it needs a reboot unless it needs one every month in which case Fitbit fix your stuff?!

Hi @lifeinspace
I'm sorry to hear you are having an issue with your Versa 2. I'm sure this is frustrating. I'm wondering if there are any patterns we can map this battery issue back to, for example, was your Versa trying to sync all night, but couldn't make a good connection, were you at home and connected to your wifi. Was the Fitbit app open during the night last night, but not on other nights? I'm looking for clues as to what might have happened to be able to better troubleshoot the problems.

It’s set to manually sync so I doubt that it was trying to sync and couldn’t connect. I was at home and connected to WiFi all day, and the app was open but in the background of my phone as always. It was a completely normal day of usage.

I’ve experienced this as well. Frustrating because I rely on alarms as well. Did you find out any reason for this battery “drain”?

Hi there @SunsetRunner. I understand how frustrating this can be.
As you may know, your Versa 2 battery should last up to 6 days. However, as with other electronic devices, the battery will depend on the features and how often they're used, such as the GPS, Spotify app or the Always-On display. While this doesn't mean that you shouldn't use them, please take into consideration the conditions that impact your watch's battery.
That being said, I'd recommend to change the clock face to one designed by Fitbit and please confirm if you've followed the tips and recommendations to maximize your watch's battery life described here.
Hope that helps.

Nope, I'm still having this issue. In fact it just happened to me again last week, going from 67% when I went to bed to completely dead by 6am. Nothing that the mod suggested (GPS, Spotify, always-on display, non-fitbit clock face) applies to me either so it's not normal battery usage. Sorry to hear you're experiencing it too!
