Versa 2 battery is draining quickly

My Versa 2 won’t hold a charge. I’ve charged it all night then it died the next day. Then I tried again on a different outlet and it still died after being “fully charged”.

Hi there, @SFlick18. Welcome to the Community Forums. Thanks for trying to troubleshoot the issue with your Versa 2 before reaching out.

In addition to the steps you've tried, I suggest to try turning off the Bluetooth on your phone. Then, go to settings on your watch and do a Shutdown and fully charge it.

If the above doesn't work, try the steps below:

  • Remove your Versa 2 from your phone's Bluetooth settings.
  • Toggle Bluetooth Off and On.
  • Logout of the Fitbit App.
  • Login to the Fitbit App again.
  • Set up your Versa 2 again.
  • Then go to settings on the watch and do a Shutdown and fully charge the watch.

Hope this helps.

I also have had problems with Fitbit holding a charge. I purchased Versa 2 about a year ago, within 6 months not charging properly, and I had it replaced since it had not been 1 full year. Now, 6 months later, same problem. Yet, customer service says this one is no longer under warranty! Not acceptable! The original warranty should not apply to the replacement of a faulty device! The warranty for the replacement device should be one full year also. Very disappointing! I’m doubt I’ll purchase a new Fitbit when they only seem to last 6 months!
