Versa 2 battery suddenly draining

I’ve had my Versa 2 for about 5 days. I charged it to 100% the day I got it, then put it on and wore it continuously for 4 days. Today, around noon, I noticed my battery was about 28%. Sounded about right. A couple hours later, I took my watch off to charge, and the battery was at 8%; seemed like a big drain in a short amount of time. I plugged my watch in, and charged it to 100% (it took 2 hours to charge). Now, after 2 hours of wearing, my battery is at 80%. I haven’t tracked anything (lazy Sunday afternoon watching movies), so I’m not sure what gives. I don’t have an interactive watch face; I am running my heart rate monitor, as is the norm. Any thoughts as to why the battery seems to be draining so fast all of a sudden?

@KristenA7039, welcome to our Fitbit Community! I'm happy to assist you with your Fitbit Versa since the battery is draining fast. Thank you for providing details about the usage, which are normal activities and should not drain the battery that fast.

I'd like you to try the tips that are listed in this help article in order to improve the batter life of your watch. After this, monitor the battery's behavior and see if the issue gets fixed.

Keep me posted on the outcome! 😀
