Versa 2 blue screen

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

So I go to check my fitbit, when I see the screen is completely blue/aqua colour.

It looks as though it’s frozen, but I can see the outlines of the notifications, and it is still synced and working.

I have tried restarting it, but no result.

Is there any other way to fix this?

Hi @Jackson1509, welcome to the Community Forums!

Thanks for bringing this to our attention and for trying some troubleshooting steps before to posting over here. To fix this and because the restart process didn't work, please try to change the clock face of your Versa 2 and let me know if the issue persists.

Looking forward to your reply.

The longest-term solution I have discovered is to let the battery go completely dead and then recharge. That stops the glitch for me me for 4-5 days. Still very annoying, and I know one day it will be gone forever. I find it amusing that it started soon after the versa 3 release. lol

Yes, the timing is terribly poor.  I have heard Apple seems to do some of that with it watch and phone releases.  I was very interested in the Sense, but extraordinary factors will have me trying your method.

Yep. Add me too.

Versa. Randomly looked off tonight. Put it off n charge - nothing. Tried to sync - can't be found. Rebooted, got a black screen with light blue around the edges. Changed the clock face to a Fitbit one, screen is still black with blue edges.

Help!

Idk All I can say is that sometimes it randomly decides to work. I also noticed a couple months ago the sleep tracker has been not working properly. The watch has been on a downside for a while which is a bummer because I just got it last Christmas. It's not even a year old. To be honest, I give up. My husband is getting me a Samsung Galaxy Active watch for Christmas. I just have to use this thing in between glitches for the next 24 days.

I was having an issue within the 12 month warranty and contacted support. They sent me a new watch out pretty quickly.

Will be interesting what happens with this issue - as that was July 2019.

I  bought mine from Amazon. I was told by a friend that Fitbit won't honor their warranty if you buy from Amazon. I can do a little digging to see if this is true.

First device lasted about 9 months until FAULTY. Replaced with Second device about 7 months until FAULTY. Blue/aqua Screen Of Death.

I would expect that a Fitbit device would last a few years or more.

What can be done about this ?

Did anyone help you with this issue? My Versa 2 just started having this problem. It would flicker between the regular screen and the blue/aqua screen but now seems to be stuck on the aqua screen. I tried restarting it but nothing happens. Is this fixable? I've had this Fitbit for less than 2 years and this is the second issue I've had with it.
