Hi, the side bouton on my Versa 2 stopped working about 2 weeks ago. It has always been protected with a screen protector over the button. There is no debris around the button. The button still pushes in. But, it will not open the screen, it will not restart the Versa and it will not go back out of the various apps back to the clock face. I have to wait and let the Versa change back on is own. I’m afraid to due a shutdown as it probably won’t come back on as you need the button to do so. This is my primary watch and I need it for work and exercise. I need this button to work. It’s not quite 2 years old. I shouldn’t have to buy a new Fitbit every 2 years. My first Versa lasted only 2 years and had to be replaced due to not staying synced to app and battery life down to every 2-3 days. As much as I have enjoyed Fitbit, Apple is starting to look better and better.

Hi there, @Coldar. Welcome to the Community Forums. Thanks for the details provided in your post about the issue with your Versa 2. We‘re taking your comments and sentiments in regards to our products and services into consideration.
If you haven't done so yet, please try to remove dust or dirt by gently using a toothpick around the button. If this does not improve the button performance, using canned air, hold the Fitbit at arm's length and spray once to loosen any dirt or dust that may have accumulated around the button. Then, please try restarting your Versa 2 by following these steps.
