Versa 2 button stopped working

Hi, I have a verse 2 that’s button hasn’t worked for a few months but managed ok without it until now. My son was playing with the screen and got me stuck in one of the options on the watch and I can’t get out of it, is there a reset button or can I reset it from the app? Failing that I will have to leave its battery run dead for it to restart when charged

Hi @KAMR - if you are in Settings you may still be able to get to About Versa 2 and do a Shutdown, but sync first.

Also changing clock face from the Gallery tile in the Fitbit App may also exit where you are stuck, or may be loading a new clock face.

Thanks @KAMR - you are stuck on music playing and the only way out I could find is using the button.

It may have been actioned by a button press, so try short press, long press (2 seconds) or restart press (10 seconds) and see if one is working. Mat be try each a few times.

Failing that, your trick to let it run down.

Hi there, @KAMR. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums. I'm sorry to hear that your Versa 2 button has stopped working and now the screen is stuck on the Music app. I appreciate you've taken the time to try troubleshooting this issue. We'll do our best to help you with this!

To better assist you, please confirm that you've tried to remove dust or dirt by gently using a toothpick around the button. If this does not improve the button performance, you can try to clear debris using canned air, just hold the tracker at arm's length and spray once to loosen any dirt or dust that may have accumulated around the button.

Additionally, please try @Guy_'s recommendation. Let us know how it goes.
